What would make you get a new Phone?

Hey Everyone its MrCapcom for Mobile Kombat. And today I would like to ask you a question.
Whats your next phone? Being a somewhat of a Tech Guru myself you know with CES coming and the new year, a flood of devices are coming in. And I wanted to get your view on what will be your next device?

I will make a quick list of things that will move me to ugprade.

1. Has to be on Verizon - Ok me personally nobody tops verizon in service. Your mileage may vary but this is my list so there!

2. 4G LTE - Its all about the mega gigabytes son. With LTE on the rise I doubt I will use it but its the next best thing. Its kinda like hustling backwards getting a 3G phone when 4G is out. Hopefully Verizon will have bareable plans and give you a choice to use it or not. (if not then ill stay wtih 3G *contrary to belief im not made out of money!*)

3. Front Facing Camera – Its not the best thing in the world some may want it or not but its starting to be a staple in phones. I just got a 4th Gen Ipod Touch and I use the Front Facing Camera a lot. Not a deal breaker but come on its not hard to do it.

4. Processor power – I kept this just at processor power for several reasons 1 we have 1ghz phones out (Yay Droid X) Then we have the Tegra 2 Dual Cores then we have the mytical 4 Core phones. I have my Droid X with and with out Rom’s and 1ghz is enough for me. When I had my Omnia at 600mhz and my Droid 1 @ 550 yea it sucked but 1ghz is just as good.

5. 4.3 or 4.0 inch screen – Come on Droid X 4.3 Screen I can’t go lower than that. My Droid X screen size helps a lot with every day things email/photos/videos I don’t see myself going to a phone lower than 4.0

6. 8MP & 720P recording or higher – Yea Droid X Does and I don’t see why this won’t be come a staple in the future of phones. You want another reason for a father of three to spend money on these devices keep this in. I have at lest 1200 photos+Videos of my children on my Droid X alone….

7. Wifi N - Don’t believe my X has this but Meh

I think those are pretty much the must haves for a phone that I would need to upgrade to. Some maybes would be a HTC phone I love the Sense UI and I think I would move to them if I found a great phone but its not a deal breaker. Plus HTC seems more open to roms ETC. Next would be On Board usuable ram the Droid 1 came with somewhere around 256-512 where as the Droid X came with 8gb (6gb usuable) which seems to be a staple now in new phones (nexus S has like 16 on board ). And Of course has to run Android but we will get to that in another article.
So what’s your spec s for a new phone to upgrade?

[Update] Phone that comes close to what I said above would be the HTC Incredible HD ^_^
