Data Smart: Smart for RIM, Great for customers

Data plans are becoming deal makers and deal breakers with a lot of customers. Some with tier data plans. Some increasing your data plan costs. And some are just to high to begin with. There must be some phone or app that can help with this? Well there is only one company who has what it takes to combat with data efficiency and its Blackberry and there DataSmart technology!

Whats DataSmart? Well it's sort of like zipping large files on your computer. When data is used on a Blackberry device, DataSmart comes in effect and "Zips" your data up before its sent or received. Therefore using less of your data plan. A study by Rysavy Research showed that DataSmart technology enabled up to 2x more web browsing, 4x more email, and 2x more social networking than other leading smart phones. That should be a kick in the knees to Apple and Google.

But more important is that the consumer gets to reap the benefits of a well thought of feature that not only allows you to do more with your smart phone, but actually makes your fixed data plans manageable. Heck, you could go to a cheaper data plan if you wanted. I guess it's just not the bbm or the keyboard that makes the Blackberry a good buy anymore. But it looks like this is a feature that the latest upgrade"blackberry6" has. Well RIM better get on these updates for these phones. Smart move by the way.
