Following the leaked images of training materials for the HTC Thunderbolt, which is to be released under Verizon, is posed to be the first smartphone under the Verizon brand that will be able to use voice and data at the same time. This is something that GSM phones under AT&T, T-mobile, and even Sprint have been enjoying for some time now.
Under 4G, it seems that the voice and data feature will be permitted by if you end up out of 4G coverage and back into 3G, the data will drop but the phone call will continue. I do find that a little alarming only because the 4G network isn't EVERYWHERE just yet. So if there are only limited spots for the 4G service, it might make that feature a little tough to use. But hey at least its a start. Good job Big Red! I might have to end up switching my choice for my next phone. And special thanks to AndroidCentral for leaking the picture of training material first.
