App Review: PowerAMP

This has to be one greatest music apps to hit the Marketplace in the last few months outside of WinAMP. Some have been calling for this app to replace the stock Android app, and for what its worth....I cant blame them. This music player is a standalone and its only been available for a couple of weeks. The sleek UI is incredibly smooth and has zero lag.
It also comes with three different themes you can change on the fly (and that are completely free I might add). It also has a host of other features that makes this app such a pleasure to use such as:

- Fast Folder Sync System
- Music and Folder Sorting Settings
- Album Art Options
- Lockscreen and Headset Options
- Set Songs as Ringtones

This app is great and one of the biggest features this app boasts is the Equalizer. Being able to change the various volume options for the music player is one of the coolest things I have seen. You can also set songs as ringtones. At first glance, there didnt seem to be a search bar to quickly locate music, but when you are in a playlist, you can type in the letters using your keyboard.
All in all, this is one of the greats in the music department and the crazy thing is.....its still a beta. There still are some features that I hope they add but only time will tell what the developers plan to add to make this even more popular then it already is.
This app is definitely worth the download and is free in the Android Marketplace. If you haven't downloaded this yet, you should be slapping yourself right now while looking it up to download to your phone.
