Everybody is on the hunt for The Gingerbread Man

Rumors have been surfacing for a few weeks now that Gingerbread, aka Android 2.3, is soon to be released. Rumors on the mill say that it may even be released this week on the 11th! Phandroid reported these findings and even spoke of the rumor that the SDK for the new AndroidOS was suppose to be leaked two weeks ago (again another rumor).
I would like to see that new OS hit Android phones before the holidays really start kicking off but with rumors like these its always better to wait and see what will develop rather than take them as the truth only to be disappointed. Seeing is believing.....so if its there, then lets have some good ol Gingerbread.
