Tweetdeck Gets a Upgrade, Now With Longer Tweets

Tweetdeck recently got a new update that now allows the users to make longer tweets. This is great considering that other apps have already had this feature (Tweetcaster, Plume to name a few). But its good to see that there is still work being done to make this a good app. The new upgrade puts Tweetdeck at version 1.0.7 and seems to be as smooth as ever. The feature named Deck.ly is what Tweetdeck uses to make the tweets you post through the app longer. When you go past your preset of 140 characters, the Deck.ly feature kicks in and creates a link so that the followers and other Twitter users that view your tweets can continue to read the rest of your tweet. The update also included some bug fixes for both Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Check out the link below if your looking to download this app and give it a try.
